Tried & Tested with Mild Activity Running Club: ASICS Novablast 3

We paired up with ASICS and Mild Activity Running Club for a tried-and-tested challenge across Phoenix Park, Dublin. Their mission? To put the ASICS Novablast 3 to the ultimate test.

About the Run

On 16th August, we took to Ireland’s best-known park to put the ASICS Noveblast 3 through its paces with Mild Activity Running Club. Fifty runners lined the park’s paths to test the shoes on a 6km loop before giving us honest thoughts on how they performed.

And the Novablast 3 didn’t just pass the test; it smashed expectations. Runners raved about the lightweight feel, the bounce in their step, and the unparalleled support this shoe offers. It’s a game-changer for both seasoned runners and newcomers. Paul Hickey, member of Mild Activity Running Club, said, “I put 850km on the Novablast 2, so it was great to test the Novablast 3. They’re a little less bouncy but more stable, so they’re a perfect addition to my running shoe rotation.”

What Tech Does the Novablast 3 Have?

Engineered with FF BLAST PLUS foam and an AHAR trampoline-inspired outsole, the Novablast 3 gives unparalleled cushioning and bounce-back. All the while, the geometric design and high midsole give you exceptional energy return.

ASICS’ winning combination of tongue-wing system and heel stabiliser keeps your foot from sliding, giving you a balanced, locked-in stride. And not forgetting breathability — the Novablast 3’s jacquard mesh upper keeps things cool and comfy across all distances.

“The Novablast 3 provided a bouncy and energetic feel during my run. Their breathable upper kept my feet cool and their outsole gave me plenty of traction across the different terrains of the park. The comfortable fit and lightweight design of the Novablast 3 is something I’ll really appreciate on my runs,” said Anna-Maria, member of Mild Activity Running Club.

How Does the ASICS Novablast 3 Fit?

The Novablast 3 fits like a dream, staying true to size with a slightly wider toe box and a snugger upper than its predecessor. This combination ensures your feet feel secure and supported, whether running straight or navigating twists and turns. It’s a shoe that adapts to your movements, giving you the confidence to get out there and run.

“The Novablast 3 is a really smooth and consistent run. Right out of the box, they were extremely comfortable,” said Meadbh Dalaney, member of Mild Activity Running Club.

Whether you’re an experienced runner or taking your first steps towards an active lifestyle, the Novablast 3 is a game-changing investment. Backed by the real experiences of the Mild Activity Running Club and infused with ASICS’ groundbreaking technology, the Novablast 3 ticks all the boxes for comfort, style, and performance. So, lace up, hit the road, and experience yours.
